After enabling FORCE_SSL_ADMIN in wp-config.php some BuddyPress features stop working.

    Hello,

First off, thanks for taking the time to read this.

BuddyPress v1.6.1 is installed and working fine on WordPress v3.4.2.

After enabling FORCE_SSL_ADMIN in wp-config.php, the following features stop working in BuddyPress:

1). You cannot ‘Post Update’ in a ‘What’s new’ type of form. The button appears, and it can be clicked… but it just sits there and spins forever (well, maybe not forever).

2). On the Groups Page, if you click on the ‘All Groups’ or ‘My Groups’ main menu items, they will also sit there and spin.

I’m sure there other examples like #2 on various other pages.

Should I not be enabling FORCE_SSL_ADMIN? Or, I suppose there may be something wrong in my Theme, etc. I’m about to try a standard bbpress theme, but thought I’d start this Topic anyway.

Thanks in advance for any help.

    Regards,
    Mike.

Sorry… I meant to say I’m about to try a standard “BuddyPress” theme…. Jeesh.

    Hello,

I’m also using the Buddypress theme (to test) and having the same issue with the post update button (never stops looping and no update is made). I disabled FORCE_SSL_ADMIN after you mentioned that, but I’m still having the same issue.

Sounds a server configuration that it’s wrong (as I’m using a new wordpress installation a NO plugins are active at all)

Wondering if you manage to get the source of the issue and help me, or you are stuck yet with it.

    Cheers from London
    Ramiro.
