Avatar database store

    Hello all. Finally my avatar upload works. It crops the image and generate the cropped on the server. Now, I want show the user avatar in the comments list with the bp_comment_author_avatar() function but it alway return null. How can I solve this problem? The avatar location need save in database?

    Comments list where? Avatars should be showing pretty much everywhere you can make a comment in Buddypress itself. Make sure you have avatars enabled in the dashboard in Settings–>Discussion for the main blog and any hosted blogs you wish to have avatars visible for.

    Comment list from a post. So, how can I see where the avarts is located in database? In the uploads folder I see the cropped. The option show avatar is enabled. Thanks!

    Don’t bump your thread so soon. References to avatars are not stored in the database.

    Thanks Paul. So, how can I get the user avatar? How WordPress link the userwith the avatar if is not sotred on database? Thanks.

    bp_comment_author_avatar() should work when used in the comments section of a WordPress blog post or page.
