Bare minimum for oembed?

    Hi r-a-y,

    Great plugin, we are using it on a site to be released shortly and the plugin does as it should every where minus the forum topic.

    The most part of the theme has been stripped out so it’s not inheriting all that much from the default theme.

    I’ve checked the plugin on bp-default and it works as it should.

    What i’m wondering is, what’s the bare minimum needed to allow the plugin to work here?

    Here is the loop used in groups/single/topic.php from the default template.

    Am i chasing the wrong chicken on this one?

    Your forum topic template should be located in your theme’s groups/single/forum/topic.php.

    Double-check your template file with the bp-default one and see if you’re not missing anything.

    Forum posts rely on bp_the_topic_post_content(). If you’re not using that, then the oEmbed plugin doesn’t pick the content up.
