Basic Issue

    I just installed the plugin on a recent install of BP (Balance theme by PressCrew) that includes several minor customizations but only 2 test members.

    I installed and activated the BP User Profile Map, and then renamed a xProfile field (that I had previously defined) to ‘Location’ from ‘City and Country’. The format of input from that field is ‘Chicago, USA’.

    After making those changes, the maps are still displaying the default ‘London, UK’ location in the user profile.

    Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

    xprofile fields are case sensitive. You must have the EXACT same field name on the profile and in the plugin settings near bp xprofile field name (field name must be entered manually).
    Test user shoud have city/§country information on their profile (sorry for this, but sometimes, basics are forgotten)

    If all this is already OK, it’s possible that you have some conflict with another plugin. I know that Byrev Pagination Gallery plugin causes this exact trouble with UPM plugin…

    Deactivate all your plugins and reactivate them one by one to find the culprit.
