I set the number of topics and replies that should be shown in a single page as 2, 5, 6 and 10. But It doesnt work that way. The rest is paginated and indicated in the page, but not navigatable. I am disappointed. Is there any work around?

(since buddypress has some options that let users erase there content, bbpress for buddypress groups is my only hope. Yes I started a thread at bbpress.org too)

Not quite clear. Which is the number that you set – 2, 5, 6, or 10? You mention both group forums and sitewide forums in the last paragraph, so which forum did you set the number of topics to be shown on the page? And what code did you use to set the number.

Jesus!, glad you did reply here. Thought this would get lost in the rest.

I tried 2, it didnt work
I tried 3, it didnt work
I tried 5, it didnt work
    and also 10, didnt work

I tried group forums proudly powered by bbpress, it didnt work.
I tried site wide forums but it also didnt work

“And what code did you use to set the number?”
No, I didnt apply any code (mom wish I knew). There is an option to do that in the bbpress’s settings page

I think this is a serious bug in the plugin that should be immediately addressed.

With WordPress, buddypress, bbpress, everyday is a new question

If your question is about the bbPress plugin’s options (or site wide forums), you should be asking for support on bbpress.org.

    Group forums are very different.

It appears you are already getting lots of support re: this question over on bbPress forums. Where, they’ve pointed out that you have your urls configured incorrectly.

You also appear to have explained on there, that it’s not the actual pagination that’s broken, but actually your ability to navigate the pages.

Please feedback on this thread, when you’ve worked out the solution from the support you are receiving on bbPress.

I removed the total WordPress installation and reinstalled it. Installed the plugins buddypress and bbpress freshly out of the rack. forum slugs are as they were and no harm was done but it is not still resolved. Just visit my main URL and see. I think its a bug not on my part

You still hold the same idea?

newpress, please behave civilly. Everyone here’s a volunteer and contributes their own time to help others on the forums.

I wonder how such a huge blunder passed on for years unnoticed

And, with that, I’m closing this topic.

It’s a bbPress topic, you should be discussing this on your thread at bbpress.org, not here.
