Blank shortcodes in buddypress

Hi.
I have added shortcodes in function.php of my buddypress theme.
Now shortcode are executing in full article/post.
But, in activity stream, where is excerpt used, shortcodes are blank.
How to execute shortcodes here in activity feed/stream, in activity description, in activity page or how it is called?
