blog.dir question

My blog.dir contains a lot of unused files.

I want to delete them but i can’t because the dir is server dependent.

Does somebody has a solution ?

Because of this, blog.dir content should be accessible through admin , with add, modify and delete rights.

  • You can delete files if you have sudo access.

There may be plugins. And this question is about wpmu and not buddypress (although buddypress may save files there, or ?). Visit wpmu forums and search, so you may find related and detailed information.

The files under blog.dir are files uploaded my members – like within blog posts and via the media uploader.

If you visited each blog’s backend, and go to the media manager, you can delete the files from within WPMU.
