2) What web browser are you using?
3) Where is your install hosted? Is it on your computer, or on a web hosting company?
4) What’s the hosting company?
5) What FTP software did you use to upload the files?
6) What kind of image did you upload?
7) Did you change the page slug for BP Album? Is there a space in the name?^F^

hope your able to help me now.@clayton morgan
Go to the main wordpress media library screen (not BP Album+, the actual wordpress site media library).
Try to upload an image file.
Then click on the item to view it.What happens?
^F^
i can see it
@clayton morgan
It’s happening because your server is giving BP Album+ the wrong URL to your wordpress installation:
Then BP Album says “well if you say so” and uses it as the image URL. the server provided, creating the URL:
Which of course doesn’t work.
We occasionally see this with really cheap shared hosts. You should talk to your web host and see if they can fix it, or perhaps move to a host that’s more WordPress friendly.
This will screw-up TONS of plugins. If you’ve tried installing like 20 different plug-ins and only a few of them worked properly, now you know why…

thank you
@clayton morgan
Version 0.1.9 of BP Album+ lets you manually set every path the plugin uses, so if you’re stuck with that particular web host, it might help.

@foxly, I know you must be sick of being asked, but any rough idea on when BP Album+ 0.1.9 will be available for testing?
In about 3 hours.
@foxly, excellent, love your work on this plugin, thanks.
Hi, I’m having the same problem as Clayton. I’m very new to this and I’m not sure how to resolve the box-with-a-question-mark-in-it problem.
Here’s my info:
1) What is your computer and operating system?
Mac OSX
2) What web browser are you using?
Safari
3) Where is your install hosted? Is it on your computer, or on a web hosting company?
Hosting Co.
4) What’s the hosting company?
iPage
5) What FTP software did you use to upload the files?
I have no idea
6) What kind of image did you upload?
Jpg
7) Did you change the page slug for BP Album? Is there a space in the name?
No
Here’s a link to the screwed up image:

I’m sure it’s something simple, I’m just trying to figure it out as I go along. I’ve tried calling the hosting co. but they said that there probably isn’t anything they can do on their end.
