BP Album+ corrupting entire WordPress installation

Hi,

I’m working on trying to set up a BP site on a fresh install of WordPress 2.9.2

I have BP Version 1.2.4.1 installed using the auto installer.
I’m using default BP theme.
I installed BP Album+ using the auto installer

As soon as I activate the BP Album plugin. It makes my entire blog go away, seemingly corrupted. I can’t see anything but an error, not even in the admin area. I would copy and paste the error here, but I managed to fix it by deleting the plugin folder, and I don’t want to try installing it again if this is going to happen again.

Is there a problem with installing BP Album+ on these latest versions of WP and BP?

This plugin is still in development.

@Caelyntek Try installing through manual upload?

The dev of this plugin said in another thread its still in development.

Version 1.7 is the most stable release we have out, but BP Album+ should really be considered as “in development” and not used on mission-critical sites until we’ve done a lot more testing on it.

So technically, you’re both right…

@Caelyn: you can disable the plugin, login to your web hosting via ftp, go to wp-content/plugins/ and delete bp album directory and refresh your http://www.domainname.com/wp-admin/

then you will see the message tells you that bp album is deactivate..
