BP Album upload getting this now.

    Increased disk space but now getting this;

    Catchable fatal error: Object of class WP_Error could not be converted to string in /home/wot/public_html/xn--fiqz9j1qd69f.com/wp-content/plugins/bp-album/includes/bpa.screens.php on line 399

    Forum and avatar uploads work OK

    Around every corner another problem! (-:

    That’s because you have non-ASCII characters in your directory path, and possibly your domain name. BP-Album (and possibly BuddyPress) can’t handle that.

    You’re going to have an unbelievably difficult time trying to set up your site on a cheap shared host with unicode filepaths and domains. WordPress will “mostly” work, but you’ll get strange, random errors that require immense skill to debug. Probably 80% of all plugins will break on your site, because few authors have added support for this kind of setup.

    My advice is to sign up on a proper web host: http://www.mediatemple.com, and use an ASCII domain name like “mychinesebuddypresssite.com”

    But isn’t the punycode in effect ASCII? And the uploads were working fine before.

    And the avatar & forum uploads are working now we have increased the disk space,some other problem perhaps?
