bp gtm system & elbee elgee buddypress theme – small tweak required

BP GTM System – great plugin Elbee-Elgee- Great theme . Thanks both.
Advice required re tweaking templates for elbee-elgee theme so that sidebars are recognized in bp gym system pages.
When using ng.css Theme StyleSheet and 3-columns-percentage-sb-both.css the sidebars disappear .
I tried configuring bp-gtm-system–>templates—> index.php with different combinations of
So far the sidebars come in but they are not configured correctly – they appear in the content area not the sidebar area.
Any help or ideas much appreciated.
Developer of elbee elgee theme would like to adjust theme to accommodate gtm template but needs some info
