Brainstorm – what else do you want in CD Avatar Bubble for users?
-
Feel free to post here any ideas that might be useful or interesting to implement into CD Avatar Bubble. I will read everything, then discuss and implement.

thanks…got it.
But the changes still don’t work for me. I have the same “there was a error…” message.
Currently my only suggestions are adding Send Message Add as Friend buttons/links.
Great plugin!
Today or tomorrow will be an update with lots of your suggestions from this topic.
Sorry for the delay – I had to finish work with my diploma. Now I’m a Master in international Economics
Congratulations on your degree! I hope it’ll lead to a higher-paying job for your career.

Looking forward to the plugin update (especially a privacy feature).

@paulhastings0
Thank you! And check your Plugins page – you will see there a notification about new version
@psyber
Send message is done. Friend button – in the nearest future (1.0)wicked, thanks for the updates, congrats.
@slaFFik The new update is simply stunning. Great work and such an effective plugin. Thank you so much!
This is great! The only idea I can come up with now is to display points from cubepoints buddypress integration.

@josh101 – I forgot to implement extra actions so some 3rd party plugins can hook into a bubble. Will do it in 1.0.
ok
Please all, download plugin and unzip in the same folder one more time. I’ve made 2 changes in 0.9 that could possibly solve some issues.
I need your feedback.@slaFFik
I don’t know it this has been suggested before, I did not take the time to read through all the previous posts.
Here is my suggestion. There should be at least about 5 seconds “hover time” – time needed for cursor to be pointed over a thumbnail, so you don’t get the bubbles popped out every time you “hit” an avatar while moving your pointer across the web page – it gets really annoying and prevents reading of posts and forum activity. I think this is really important!
Apart from that, great plugin, keep the good work!
@blacktattoo – thank you for an idea, I will think how to implement it in 1.0.
Also, view the last stream activity from it!
@Gpo1 – I’ve got it. Will think over.
Awesome work man. I don’t think I could ask for more. Thanks especially for the Privacy option. Your plugin is an excellent addition to the Buddypress community.

@paulhastings0 – thank you
I promise that this plugin will become even better.@slaFFik Hi! Still loving this plugin, one of the nicest around I think!
Just wanted to see if others were experiencing a tiny bit of instability when hovering over groups of avatars, for example in a sidebar widget where lots of avatars might be close together?
It’s not a huge problem but occasionally the bubble jumps to a nearby avatar when hovering over a different one. It isn’t all the time either.
I have noticed that you only need to touch an avatar once for the bubble to appear, even if you are no longer hovering over it.
I think it might be a little more stable if you had to be hovering over it the entire time it is there.For example, if I’m moving the cursor from one area of the screen to the next and only brush an avatar then the bubble pops up even when I’m no longer on the avatar. Can be a little distracting.
It’s nothing terribly important and this plugin is still awesome for BP but just thought I’d put it out there.
Any ideas on new developments for this too?
Thanks
Nice plugin! there’s only a few things that are keeping me from using it for the time being though:
1) It completely bypasses permissions set by the BP Profile Privacy plugin: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/bp-profile-privacy/
Perhaps you could integrate this kind of functionality?
2) The text inside the box is very hard for me to read probably due to my choice of theme: http://wordpress.org/extend/themes/unplugged
I would like to see an option to change the color of text within the bubble and not just the border.
3) As others have mentioned, the bubble stays open when the mouse is no longer over the avatar.Other than that, the plugin works great… keep up the good work!

@rossagrant I can confirm that I have the same problem when I just briefly skim over a avatar that the bubble will still remain on screen. As I’ve mentioned previously, I think having an option between “hover” and “click” to see the bubbles would be good.
@rossagrant, thank you for your good words

I’ve already implemented not only hover function, but clicking too (you will see it during next weekend in a major 1.0 update). That means that after clicking on an avatar the bubble will appear and the user will not be redirected to profile page. Alternatively in a bubble there will be a working link to a user profile.@jmarino, but you can edit css files. And ok, I will do smth with it.
@paulhastings0 – you will be almost happy with this plugin after the next release
@SlaFFik but I am lazy, lol. And thanks!
@slaFFik is it this weekend we get treated to 1.0? I am really looking forward to the click option you have implemented and I am launching my site on Monday! Your new version of your plugin would be great to launch with!

Looking forward to it as well.
