Browser back button navigation shows logged in information even after logout

    Hi all,
    I am facing a very nagging problem although not serious. I am using WordPress 3.2.1 and BuddyPress 1.2.9. After logging out, if the user pressed back button in the browser he/she can still see the information which the user sees after logging in. Although the session is expired. I think the problem is somewhere with page expiration. Is anyone else facing same problem?

    I just tested this and whilst yes I can ‘see’ I can’t edit. I get this message:

    “You must log in to access the page you requested.”

    I’m not really sure about the ins and outs of what should / shouldn’t happen there but if you think a different behaviour then I’d encourage you to log a ticket. I just tried in the 1.3 trunk so it is something you’d want to perhaps also test on that. Even better would be if you logged the ticket and have a patch as that’s always really cool.

    Browsers keep in memory the sites in your recent history. It’s how you can go ‘back’ so quickly without waiting for a full reload.
