BuddyPress 1.7.2 – Issue with bp-custom.php (friends counter)

Hi all,

I added a bp-custom.php file inside plugins folder to be able to fix the problem with the friends counter after the deletion of a member (please see here: http://buddypress.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/2341)

After adding the bp-custom.php file inside the plugins folder (including the code which is described in the link above) I couldn’t load my site…

I removed the bp-custom.php file and now it is ok but without fixing the counter.

Any idea?

Hi

Did you find a solution to this? I am having a similar problem with bp-custom.php . No matter what I put in it, even if it is blank, it breaks my site and no pages will load – just blank white pages. As soon as I remove bp-custom.php everything works again.

Anyone know what I am doing wrong? As I said, this happens even if I have a blank file called bp-custom.php inside my plugins directory.
