[Resolved] Buddypress 1.7 release and 'the white page of death'

    Dear Forum,

    I’ve installed Buddypress 1.7 on a 3.6 WordPress install running the Hatch theme. I got ‘the white page of death’. I reached out for help, and was told to increase the memory in php.ini or wp-config, which I have now done. I still get the white page of death-and I’ve had to turn BP 1.7 off to get the site back up. And its really, really frustrating because I so want to use BP1.7. The site is gameupdate.com.

    Can someone please help?

    @thatmtnman Where are you hosted? Are you on a shared server? Have you contacted webhost tech support about this issue?

    For white screens of death, we always need to see the error message inside the PHP Error log. You might need to contact your host’s support and ask them to do this for you. Let us know what it says!

    Dear Mercine and Paul,

    I got the issue resolved by deleting the plugin and redownloading and reinstalling it. Its not crashing the page any longer, but I haven’t done anything with it yet.
