buddypress ajax chat not working on wordpress (not mu)

    i have installed it with wordpres and i get the following error in chat as well as shout box.

    Hi,

    This was an issue with looking for spam and deleted fields in the db. They were not there in wordpress install so I removed this contraint. I just checked in version 1.1.8 to fix this.

    I’m having the same problem and I have version 1.2.6. Is this a settings error or a bug?

    Thanks Ray:) You’re right I rarely do come in here as all I ever hear is problems, lol:)

    @heathj85 – Make sure you installed it correctly. Meaning that there was a bp-chat/config/bp-chat-config.php file created and it’s contents are right. If not you would get this error as well. But few people do. Although reasons you might get it are:

    1. You don’t allow table creation for the wordpress user/password in wp-config

    2. You didn’t chmod 777 the config directory on install

    3. Your information in bp-chat-config.php is wrong or not present.
