    @hasselblad96 – are you referring to the group description field?

    The default template for group creation, uses a standard form text area — you could explore reworking this template to use the wp-editor which is TinyMCE based. Then, using one of the maths plugins to extend TinyMCE.

    I don’t know whether it’s possible to get this working, but it’s certainly worth exploring if maths formulae are critical to your site.
