    @tallydigtalbiz

    Just completed fresh install of WPMU 2.8.6 & BuddyPress 1.1.3 on GoDaddy. Everything appears to be working with the exception of one function on the General Settings:

    The drop down for “Select theme to use for BuddyPress generated pages:” is not visible.

    Please advise.

    Thanks

    Michael

    You go to the dashboard of the blog where you installed BP then Appearance > Themes – choose the theme you want.

    The drop down for “Select theme to use for BuddyPress generated pages:” is not visible.

    That particular option was changed in BuddyPress 1.0. Since then, you just pick the site theme and that controls the setting.

    Hi please help thie BP noob :)

    I’m testing BP with view to upgrade site to this.

    The theme works on the main page: http://cre8radiofm.net/v2/

    but! http://cre8radiofm.net/v2/blogs and you see what happens.

    The theme totally disappears! This is just a standard installation as described in the set up guide, what am I missing here?

    Thanks for your help

    @peternicholls – It looks like you created sub-blogs “members” “blogs” and “groups” which you shouldn’t have done. Delete those sub-blogs. Let BuddyPress automattically generate those pages when you click on the links. Just tested the theme and it’s working great on 1.2-rare bp-sn-parent.

    If that’s not the case, it would help us help you if you answer these questions – https://buddypress.org/forums/topic/when-asking-for-support
