Buddypress #hashtags: Have you made it work?

This amazing plugin, that I NEED (you know how that is), doesn’t work anymore. The #hashtags appear as links, but the page that should aggregate the results always comes up blank.
Has anyone tweaked this plugin to work. I realize Rich has moved on, but his genius is missed.
