Buddypress Links modification iframe & video

    @wieseljonas

    I modified the plugin by adding a iframe to open the link directly into the link home page.
    Pretty useful if you don’t what your user to leave your site while viewing your link.

    If you’re curious this is how it looks like.

    On the other hand I’m struggling with video links. they don’t open like most of you noticed. I was wondering if anyone had an idea to be able to open this video in the link page ( A bit like stumbleupon does). The same structure that i did with the iframe but with the video instead?

    regards,

    Jonas

    Very nice but above your iframe you get this error :
    Warning: mysql_real_escape_string() expects parameter 1 to be string, object given in /home/www/993ffea157ecb1a78953bb73120cadf2/web/wp-includes/wp-db.php on line 791

    If you will get it work without errors , would you mind to share the code with us ? It is very nice solution before somebody will come with fully working buddypress links video on our websites . I would do a smaller iframe with scrollers to my website , but your solution is cool -:)
    Just today I have posted the same request if somebody resolved video on Buddypress links .

    ahh ok -:) I know , without that warning everything works perfectly . You got really nice idea , I wanted to do the same with BP Groups Frontpage plugin , I was thinking to add in ad hoc area the iframe code to get the group website , like this every group should have their website in their group frontpage , but I didn’t have a time to find good code to make it run .

    Very nice !! Video works perfectly -:) Many people here are waiting when this Buddypress Links feature comes back , would be nice of you to share iframe code with us . Did you have your Groups links fetching working ? Fetching links from the main menu works perfect , but from from Groups doesn’t fetch nothing , button is dead , it looks like other plugin’s javascript conflict (in my case Buddypress Docs – in other cases they say also other plugins )

    Hello, I’m Brazilian. I saw that you modified the plugin (this url:http://buddypress.org/support/topic/buddypress-links-modification-iframe-video/)
    I would ask, if by kindness could share the source code with me? I will be eternally grateful.
