I have installed this media plugin and can see it on our dashboard. Nothing has happened on the site
though. What do I need to do?

I’m also wondering if there is any blog- as well as(or) a business directory plugin which we can add. In most blog directories they ask you to first add a link to their site and after you’re welcome to register your blog. We would like to have a business directory like that on our new site.
Anyone knows…?

@a-swede-in-greece there are two BuddyPress Media plugins which have own forums
– BP Media plugin -> https://buddypress.org/community/groups/bp-album/forum/
– BP Media Component plugin -> https://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/buddypress-media/ and click on support tab

I assume you mean external blogs. Try https://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/buddypress-links/screenshots/ or adapt it to fit to your needs.

@a-swede-in-greece : it seems like you’ve already uploaded media files on your site using this plugin. This plugin basically adds the feature to upload multimedia files for users on BuddyPress enabled sites. Still if you need to know anything else about this plugin, you can ask us anytime.

I tried to use this plugin too and after i installed it, nothing appeared. Where was it suppose to appear at? I assuming under the activity post?

@charlietech, if you’ve installed BuddyPress Media plugin, you can see media tab nearer to activity, profile, friends, groups etc.

I was wondering how would i add a camera, video icon to the activity page so users wouldnt have to only post things from their profile page?
