Buddypress without blogs?

    Hey guys,

    I really like the idea of turning wordpress (mu) into a social network. But I just want that “social-network”-functions and I don’t want every user to have a blog. I know that this is kinda the main idea of buddypress.

    So, my question is: Is it possible to deactivate this blog function or to.. “delete” that, so that my wordpress mu would just be a social netowrk without blogs? :)

    If not, do you have any other ideas how to do that?

    You can turn off blog registration as an option in WPMU. Then it’s as simple as not installing bp-blogs.

    But then we have this page when press [sign up]:

    “You must first login, and then you can create a new blog.”

    No options for new users.
