    I can’t log into your website. Whenever i try it just takes me to the homepage. Is there another place to get this?

    Just update in your wordpress amin, or download over here: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/buddystream/

    Peter the 1.0.3.1 release has fixed the wp-load issue I was having. One thing that I noticed however is that if a user revokes access via Twitter, it now fails to update the Buddypress Profile and reset it back to “Authenticate with Twitter” again. This was not the case in v1.0.3. In the prior version if you revoked Twitter access then the profile would get updated and the user would be asked again to “Authenticate with Twitter”. As it stands now, I have to manually go in reset the users account else the user is stuck with a revoked access Twitter account and no way to re-authenticate.

    So you sugest a reset in the users settings? Maybe not that bad idea at all :D

    Hahah – yeah Pete, that would be my suggestion. Or even better might be having the reset happen automatically like it did in v1.0.3 if someone were to revoke access on Twitter. Thanks again for your efforts!

    Well the automatic reset did not work out that well :p but a manual one can be done.
    Will write it down for a future version

    That is strange Peter – I know that the automatic reset use to work in the last version (1.0.3). Either way, thank you for writing it in for a future version!

    It worked indeed but it did also reset users when it not had to reset so i removed it.

    Oh I see – thank you for the clarification Peter. I remember that issue of the Twitter accounts not sticking and it being fixed with this new version. I now realize that was causing the auto reset to not work now. A manual reset within the user twitter settings should be sufficient. Thanks again Peter!

    Hey Peter,

    I also seem to be getting the following error message after I try to create a new group within BuddyPress after this latest upgrade:

    `Fatal error: Call to undefined function bcpow() in /var/www/vhosts/example.com/httpdocs/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/buddystream/buddystreamFunctions.php on line 910`

    Anyone else experiencing a similar issue?

    Thank you -

    The only thing that is not working for me now is when you try to post to your twitter or facebook page on a forum post it doesn’t work. Works for activity posts, but not forum posts.

    Hi, I do not know what is happening but the cron is creating files in the root of my server. I will attach a picture for you to understand that I speak. Is this a mistake? or is my server?
    See error: http://d.imagehost.org/0939/import.jpg

    Thanks in advance!

    Same here.

    Btw a general import issue occurred under some circumstances with Multi Site installations, which was solved with a workaround by @mrsangeld here: http://buddypress.org/community/groups/buddystream/forum/topic/buddy-stream-not-importing/#post-83040

    Thank you all for this great contribution!

    OK @blackphantom, some findings after some more hours of investigation:

    - for MS installations under some circumstances mrsangeld’s workaround is required to get import functionality working
    - we still have these import files left in server root

    And another thing:

    - from Facebook it imports _any entries from my wall. Meaning, not only items I posted on my own, but also items other people posting on my wall!?

    Again, thank you for your efforts. Have relaxing days :)

    Hi, I installed the Buddystream but when I test it, and click Authorize Facebook, there is an error {
    “error”: {
    “type”: “OAuthException”,
    “message”: “Invalid redirect_uri: Given URL is not allowed by the Application configuration.”
    }
    }

    What can I do? Please help me. Thanks

    @m@rk Yes, I’m having the same issue with it pulling EVERYTHING from facebook… including the actual post made from buddystream itself, which results in dual posts whenever someone posts to facebook from buddystream.

    Any way to fix this? I need to get it working properly asap.

    Thanks.

    OMFG. So, If I read this correctly, BuddyStream’s (that didn’t work for me so I deleted it) cronjob is creating the 2,834 import.php (and growing) in my root folder?

    Thus if I stop the cron job I’ll stop getting these files and I can delete them?

    I am using WP 3.0.4 MultiSite with BuddyPress.

    Having same issue but with Twitter. If someone posts on the site up to their Twitter account, then duplicate posts get made.

    strange, we are checking if the post came from the own site or not so it should not import double.
    The import problem with the files that are being created is solved in the next release (somewhere this week)
