Call User Name and Link

    I am looking to modify the activity feed layout and I would like to know if there is a call that will print the username of the post author.

    Sort of how <?php bp_activity_user_link() ?> prints the url of the author’s profile, I am looking for something similar to print user’s full name…

    I tried <?php bp_activity_user_fullname() ?> but that didn’t seem to work. Any help would be deeply appreciated.

    probably give it more than 3 hours for a response but if you crack open the bp-activity-templatetags file. You’ll see bp_activity_user_link() and how it pulls up the info. Also above that is a function just for the user_id (and i’m sure there is another function around to pull in the fullname from the user_id)

    Thanks etiviti for replying but I still have had no luck. I have reviewed that file and others for for the past few days… but I still can’t figure out how to display the activity user’s “nicename” or “fullname”.

    Does anyone know how this could be done?
