Can Achievement be managed by a different user other than the superadmin

Currently it look like the Achievement can be created by the superadmin only, is it possible so that admin can have a second person to manage the achievement without having to give him the super admin roles

It would be wonderful to tie these capabilities to BuddyPress Group Admin roles. Especially the ability to give award type achievements. Greater autonomy within groups in BuddyPress would be brilliant. Any plans or hacks for this?

There are rudimentary capability checks in teh current version. If you’re familiar with something like Role Scoper, i’ll dig up what the names are and let you know so you can try it.

I can check out Role Scoper but if there’s a way to hack the plugin directly, I’d love to hear from you. My attempts so far can bring up the quick menu but not access the “give” page.

Check out line 1885 onwards of the template tags file; dpa_permission_can_user_create(), dpa_permission_can_user_edit() and so on.

They are all filtered, so either you can manage them that way, or give capabilities called “achievements_create”, “achievements_edit” to a certain user or role.
