Can we disable email send on the initial invites?

    Great plugin! I’d like to invite my members to a few groups and to be friends with a few members. Unfortunately when I do so they get hit with an email for each invite immediately upon registration so they are receiving 8 – 10 emails when they register which is not good. Is there anyway to disable the email send on these initial friend and group invites?

    Sort of. If you set this in wp-config.php, then the invitation won’t be sent and they’ll automatically join the groups.

    `define(‘WELCOME_PACK_AUTOACCEPT_INVITATIONS’, true);`

    Hi Paul,
    Tried this today but nothing changed – the new signup gets the invites and still has to manually accept the invite. Just wondering if a reason for that occurs to you?

    Probably because Welcome Pack hasn’t been updated for several months. When we get BP 1.3 out, I’ll then be looking at Welcome Pack.
