I’m guessing I’ve got a plugin conflict…wasn’t there an issue between BP Links and BP Forum Extras?
Has there been any movement on this? I’m seeing a couple of Javascript errors, but they don’t appear to be related.
If anyone is still having this problem, please post a very detailed description of the problem. Javascript is very difficult to debug unless I can replicate the problem.
Apparently it seems that previous db table are not in place either you have dropped it or something else might have happen to those db table with wppreffix_bp_links , and now It seems the db table are not automatically created when you reactivated the plugin , You have to maually create the bp links related db tables or import it from some where else (like demo installs).
It happened to my installation(as I have deleted those tabled after deactivating the plugin) and I solved it by importing those bp links related db infos from my demo install.
I’m also getting this problem. It appears to be an issue with Chrome. We can add them fine in Firefox 3.6.12 but in Chrome, we can’t.
The problem is Chrome… I had the same issue switched browsers and it went away.
@MrMaz I’m having the same issue as greg fielding had with BP Links. It wont fetch the page details at all in IE or Firefox, It doesn’t even show the blank field names and descriptions in IE. I’m using WordPress MU 3.01, BP 1.2.6 and BP links .5 . Do you think it is a DB table issue as AnindyaRay explained. Any help is appreciated.
Thanks
I figured it out, my memory was low , it was affecting other pages also i came to realize
I changed the slug “links” to something else, now I get “undefiend” error when click Fetch
