    Hi,

    I installed both bbPress and buddyePress. When I tried to enable all default components of BuddyPress it gave me a Blank page error on my admin panel. This doesn’t happen if the bbPress not installed. I use latest versions of wp, buddypress and bbpress.

    I will appreciate any inputs to fix this.

    Thanks.

    I’ve re-installed many times to test and found that if bbPress installed and I try to enable the setting for Component User Groups by checking it. That will make error. I use the Latest versions of wp, buddypress, bbpress and default wp theme.

    This is my 3rd times post so I hope someones will give some info that helps me to fix this.

    @bluesharp It would help if you provide more information about your installation because what’s happening with your installation is not the norm. Where are you hosted – locally or on shared/vps/dedicated hosting? Have you deactivated all plugins except BP/bbPress ?

    @mercime Thanks for your reply.

    The site is on my local-host, wampsever and it is a fresh new one without any other plugins.

    @bluesharp I’ve never used WAMP However for blank pages, you might want to check out http://codex.buddypress.org/getting-started/troubleshooting/blank-pages/ Also, please make sure that you have “pretty permalinks” set up (not the pseudo-pretty permalinks with /index.php appended).

    @mercime Thanks for the link, I’ve checked it. But I think it’s not a wordpress or wamp issue, because I’ve been using these for the last 2 years and built about ten sites without any problem. I have changed the default permalinks setting to Post Name already.

    I often find that blank screen’s show a corresponding entry in the apache error.log ?
