changing .po file

    Hi,

I don’t really understand how the .po file works.

    Example:

For ‘minutes’ the po file has this entry:

    #: bp-core.php:921

    #, fuzzy

    msgid “minutes”

    msgstr “分”

I would read it as: line 921 in bp-core.php must be a field called ‘minutes’ – but there isn’t.

Now, in line 903 is a field ‘minutes’ and I want to translate it too. So I added

#: bp-core.php:903, just the line before the example above – but nothing happens.

Can anybody help? How does it work?

i´ve translated the .pot file with poedit too, and it works fine. still the line numbers don´t match, and i want to understand why they don´t match and why it still works?

If I want to add lines to the .po file, I´ll need to know how to address properly.
