    WhiteEagle’s Aerie ( http://whiteeagleaerie.com/ ) is my first site that is running BuddyPress. I was hoping to do a bit more with it, but I experienced odd errors, so this is the result for now.

    In general, it’s my blog about various topics, and the community around it. I founded a group for fan fiction writers there, as that’s one of my main hobbies. It also features my weekly podcast.

    Looks like a good start. My advice would be to maybe focus what the community is about – you mention fan fiction writers perhaps that’s a good direction to take it in even as the main focus.

    I don’t use it on my blog anymore, but I do use it on my company’s sites:

    Those are the two main ones, the others (as well as WP Blog Central) still need work. One BuddyPress plugin that would very useful for me is to disable a category’s posts from showing up in activity feeds. ;)
