Server Connection reset on long forum post ?

Hello Everyone,
I am having trouble making my group forums on my installation behave properly.
When adding a topic reply, the connection to the server rests if the reply is too long.
It seems to be caused by adding too many image links to the post ?
Any ideas? The site works fine otherwise – it’s very strange.
