Contributors section of buddypress.org has errors

@johnjamesjacoby – I noticed that there are errors in how the contributors part of the plugins section is displayed. For example, in this plugin: http://buddypress.org/community/groups/bp-group-control/ Andy is not a contributor, Dan Polant is. Maybe he should have put his username rather than his name, but it is confusing. Also, in this plugin http://buddypress.org/community/groups/buddypress-group-email-subscription/ it only lists Boone as the contributor, however both myself and david cartwright are contributors and listed properly in the plugin. Thought maybe you’d like to know

I’m having an issue with this as well. My plugin, http://buddypress.org/community/groups/bp-tweet-urls/ displays Andy as the contributor. I originally posted my plugin with my name instead of username, but fixed it. Will the problem fix itself when i release a future version with my correct username?

I had the same issue, and as you’ve realised it’s the username that’s the problem. Not sure if it corrects itself with future version releases but have a feeling not.

@DJPaul fixed mine up he might be able to do the same for you or perhaps @boonebgorges can.

Problem occurs exactly when the author credit in the readme doesn’t match a wordpress.org user account name. I’ll let Boone police his own groups, but if any plugin author has this problem, I’m happy to fix.
