Create html sign up form

Hi all ,
Ive tried to create an html sign up form by coping the BP fields from the source code..
i made the form action to “site.com/register”.
ok so when you fill the fields and press “sumbit” the value’s added to BP register page fields..
with all the fields types its work perfect but not in select box..
any idea why it dosent work ?

But its not compatibale with buddy press and dosent have an widget..
just want to post the html select fields to original register form like its work with all the fields except the select boxes..
