Hmm, that doesn’t seem to be the BuddyPress default theme.
It looks like the theme doesn’t support dynamic css/js embeds.
You are correct, this is not a BP standard theme. I’d be surprised if it didn’t handle dynamic css or js embeds because it is a Woo Theme theme and they’re pretty good about this kinda stuff.
My guess is that something is awry with my conversion to BP-based theme – because there the instructions were limited and quite frankly not complete. I am still finding bits and pieces.
Any idea how I can check on the dynamic css and js embed issue?
It’ll really be too bad if I must go back to my original version with WishList Member as I was ultimately hoping to include multiple teachers teaching multiple courses and classes.
Well, the most important is that the theme must have a `wp_head()` in `header.php`
http://core.trac.wordpress.org/browser/tags/3.0.4/wp-content/themes/twentyten/header.php#L51
and a `wp_footer()` call in `footer.php`.

If everything is there, something else breaks it, disabling plugins one by one can reveal some issues too.
Well, damn, both exist where they should.
I deactivate ALL plugins except Buddypress, BuddyPress template pack, and ScholarPress and the errors mentioned above still occur.
Also, in my other support question about why transparent pngs are turning black … this site is a subdomain of my main site which is using the same theme same version and same transparent icons. When I upload the transparents in BP, say as a member avatar they remain transparent. When I try to upload transparent pngs as a group avatar they are turning black.
Unfortunately, I think I must deactivate ScholarPress and return to my original version until I have time or money to resolve these issues.
@thealchemist, can you give some links to the theme you are using?
I would like to test it by myself.
Of If you have some spare time and will, send me the details to the install you use so I can test things (I don’t charge, just want to see if I can help).

Thank You Stas. I appreciate your support. Unfortunately, I’d already deleted my re-worked theme and re-installed the original theme. I may come back to the WP/BP/SP combo on another site when I’m not under a deadline. If you do want to see the theme its: xtreme.transmutationsciences.com
Ok, thank you for trying things out.
