Creating my own buddypress theme

Now I can figure out the logistics and edit/create regular wordpress themes just fine, but when it comes to buddypress, I’m LOST. Is there an easy way to at least understand how to go about making my own theme/merging two? Sorry if I’m not specific, let me know what you need to know.

Take a look at the BP Template Pack plugin.

This plugin will try to make your WP theme compatible with BP.

You can also build a child theme from the default BuddyPress theme.

Thanks guys. The template plugin only resulted in a blank white screen in the admin panel and on the live site. The thing is that I’m trying to get the default to look like this… http://sodevious.net/ , but I think just creating a child theme seems like the best option.

White screen usually means errors!

Do you see any errors in the server log?

hmm, no, I didn’t check them, I just decided to start from scratch
