Crop image not working

    Hi,

    I have recently installed latest version of buddypress on my website (www.pace2race.com).

    When i upload a new avatar image it gives me a pre-cropped image and there are no crop tools.

    Details:

    Wordpress – 3.7.1
    Theme – Dynamik theme on Genesis framework

    When i activate twenty ten theme, crop works correctly, so this is a theme issue. But i am unable to find what is causing the problem. This is the link of development site on which twenty ten is activated with all other setting exactly as the production site. (http://pace2race.staging.wpengine.com/)

    Hi,

    I’m not familiar with those themes, but I feel it is safe to assume that they have functions that are overriding, hooking, or filtering through wp upload actions. The only thing I can think of is cracking open the themes functions.php file and look for any functions in there that hook into any wp functions with these keywords in them: attachment,thumbnail,image,upload

    I’d comment out any functions you find (one at a time) until the issue is resolved.

    Not familiar with genesis framework, but it might be worth investigating if it does anything to change how wp handles uploads.
