Hi Imath,
This plugin truely is amazing however i have a custom post type ‘auction’ with its own activity stream and post form and was wondering if its easy enough to add support for checkins on this post?
i:e: user has just checked into testing post_type
Any help would be great!

interesting.. Basically a ‘bp-checkin’ is an activity with activity metas to store geo datas.. so your goal is to post an activity update making sure to use this 3 POST vars are posted :
$_POST, $_POST $_POST
and you’ll need to add a reference to the do_action( bp_activity_posted_update…) hook.This is how you can add a checkin link to regular blog posts :
1/ i add 3 posts metas in from my wp-admin post editor :
2/ i add this script to my active theme’s functions.php file :

Then adapt it for your custom post type
