Custom page for messages – exclude profile menu options

Hi!
I been searching on the forums for weeks, but i can’t find the solution. Hope that someone helps!
What I am trying to do is to create a custom page for the messages under the user profile. I mean, try to control members/profile/messages slug in order to not show the profile menu there.. only the messages options like : inbox, sent items, write
Does anyone knows how to do it? I tried also change the url scheme on the bp-custom, upload a custom page inside the member’s folder but without success.
