Custom query for groups loop

Hey,

does anybody know a quick way of adding to the query for a BP groups loop to filter for any kind of group meta data? Is there actually such a thing?

Take a look at the “BP Member Filter” topic (http://buddypress.org/forums/topic/bp-member-filter#post-28748).

This is a good example of how to create filter extension for members. Principals / concepts will probably also work for groups.
