I am setting up a BuddyPress site & want some customisations.

These are the changes I want to make:
- current “like” (via BuddyPress Like Plugin) changed to an icon/button (I’ve changed the word to “Smile”)
- remove the Activity Feed comments box/counter
- remove the word “Mentions” from the menu above the Activity feed.
- remove Private Message button completely.
change word “Follow”, “Following”, “Follower” to a different word (preferably just another icon/button of mine)
I have created a child theme & am using the default bp-default theme but am very new to buddy press & would be happy to pay for this help as I’ve spent a lot of time searching through files already.
