Display Newest Doc?

Is there a way to display the full version of the most recent document? I’m manipulating BP into a different sort of site, and this docs plugin is wonderful, but I was wondering if I could pull the most recent doc, and display it on a custom group page? I just need help with the pulling and displaying it, I have my own page already.
