In my BuddyPress installation every time I press on “post update” in activity, creates a duplicate entry.
    I’m the one who’s wrong?
Using WordPress 3.5.1 with suffusion theme and BuddyPress 1.7.

Thanks for the reply. And yes, it’s for the theme.

I am wanting to use buddypress for support and some social components for my site. The theme is Scooter, a Builder child theme from iThemes.

Everything is being duplicated with buddypress. It looks ok out of the box, but each group, member, activity shows up 2 times…..one below the other.

    see http://floorplanonline.com/groups, http://floorplanonline.com/members http://floorplanonline.com/members/kriscone/ for examples.

I have read you need to put something in the functions file of the theme. I have done that and all that does is remove the CSS of buddypress.

    So, need some help. thanks

Hello, anyone there? Still have the duplicate content issue. I have tried different themes, and they also duplicate the content, including 2012. The only one that does not is Yukon and that has built in buddypress support. Even in the admin under Dashboard it has Welcome to Buddypress showing twice.

We’ve tested BuddyPress extensively with Twenty Twelve and there’s no duplicate content. Deactivate plugins except BP batch by batch to identify which plugin is causing the issue.
