Errors in User Profile

  • I installed Buddystream and created an App for Twitter & Facebook.

    When a user wants to setup Twitter the follwing error appears:

    `Fatal error: Uncaught exception ‘Zend_Session_Exception’ with message ‘Session must be started before any output has been sent to the browser; output started in /is/htdocs/XXXXXXXXXXXXXX/www/SITE/wp-content/plugins/buddypress/bp-themes/bp-default/header.php/3′ in /is/htdocs/XXXXXXXXXXXXXX/www/SITE//wp-content/plugins/buddystream/Zend/Session.php:454 Stack trace: #0 /is/htdocs/XXXXXXXXXXXXXX/www/SITE/wp-content/plugins/buddystream/Zend/Session/Namespace.php(143): Zend_Session::start(true) #1 /is/htdocs/XXXXXXXXXXXXXX/www/SITE/wp-content/plugins/buddystream/classes/twitter/BuddystreamTwitter.php(107): Zend_Session_Namespace->__construct(‘buddystream’) #2 /is/htdocs/XXXXXXXXXXXXXX/www/SITE/wp-content/plugins/buddystream/templates/twitter/UserSettings.php(89): BuddystreamTwitter->getRedirectUrl() #3 /is/htdocsXXXXXXXXXXXXXX/www/SITE/wp-content/plugins/buddystream/buddystreamFunctions.php(266): include(‘/is/htdocs/wp10…’) #4 /is/htdocs/ in /is/htdocs/XXXXXXXXXXXXXX/www/SITE/wp-content/plugins/buddystream/Zend/Session.php on line 454`

    On Facebook the follwing error appears when clicking Authorize with Facebook:
    `{
    “error”: {
    “type”: “OAuthException”,
    “message”: “Invalid redirect_uri: Die Anwendungseinstellungen erlauben die angegebene URL nicht.”
    }
    }`

    Make absolutely sure the url set in the application is exactly the same as the url for your website. If it is not, then facebook will not be able to verify the website properly.

    Also, make sure the APP ID is used rather than the API Key.

    Where can I change my Settings for the Facebook App? I dont finde a login button or something like that on the Facebook Developer Site…

    My website is in a subfolder on my Server. When I enter the URL in Site URL and Site Domain, Facebook says that this is not a valid Domain. I dont know what I should do….

    I changed the URL in the Twitter Settings now, but still the same error. In Facebook it still not works to change the URL…

    First error is fixed in next release, second error is a application setting on facebook just like roydeanjr said

    I got Facebook to work now. I deleted the Application and created a new one with the correct URL and It seems to work now! It would be great to get Twitter to work…
