ETA on some of the search fixes?

Hello Ninjas… As an active user of this site for the last months, I can attest for the need for a FASTER fix to the search abilities of this site. Time after time I find something I need to open only to be blocked by the page not being found or it’s on a 2nd page that I cannot click to… I also believe that many of the questions that are being asked on this site have already been answered numerous times, but the people either can’t find the answers or, like me, they find them but cannot open them. By fixing the issues with the search, and perhaps tweaking the “unified-search” of the site, I believe the number of questions will be greatly reduced and will assist the moderators by allowing them more time to deal with unanswered or new questions….
Also, I believe that Private Messaging should be enabled on this site, perhaps not “card-blanche”, but after a set amount of time or posts, etc. There are numerous times I needed to e-mail someone on this site but did not have access to contact them or did not feel comfortable posting my contact information in a forum.
Lastly, the Spam on this site, while minimal, and usually caught in 24 hours, is irritating and persistant… there are a number of BP plugins that could be used on this site to help with this, but also simply limiting the “links” posted to two or three per post would eliminate some of the “mile long” spam I’ve been seeing recently.
Just some thoughts for you all to consider as we all traverse BuddyPress and the BuddyPress.org site.

Not going to give an ETA but Boone has the access he requires so things should start to happen shortly, but that is when people have the time to spare as it is a voluntary effort. Things do need to sorted sooner rather than later, it’s starting to drive me a little crazy
900, 000 members wow! hmm along with the groups there’s a lot of cleaning up to do, but it needs doing! I note that many members are repeatedly listed so 900,00 is probably an inaccurate figure. this aspect is difficult though as it rquires admin level and there’s only one of them??
