Event Plugin Opinions

I know this has been asked 1000 times but I didn’t see any recent conversations on the topic.

What are the current BP event plugin options? I see wpmu.org but not too many others.

Most important feature for me is group events showing up in a global calendar.

There’s also another premium plugin but have never tested it http://shop.shabushabu.eu/buddyvents.html

Of the 2 mentioned, Events Manager is the better bet.
I’ve worked with the free version.
Depending on what you need to do, customizing it can be difficult.
And it’s resource intensive.

Thanks @shanebp. I’m currently using the free Events Manager and it does a lot but not all of what I’d like. What customizing have you done? Do you know if it’s possible to get individual events to link back to the user’s BP profile rather than a WP author page?

@h2waldmann thanks, but I don’t see how this plugin integrates with Buddypress. Am I missing something obvious?
