Hi All,

I’m using the legacy group forums on BP 1.8, WP 3.5, and just need quick clarification about how notifications are supposed to work. Can someone confirm that my understanding of these two options (From member “Email Notification Settings”) is correct?

Under GROUP FORUMS:
OPTION 1) A member replies in a discussion topic you’ve started.
Expected Behavior: Notifications are sent when a user replies after anyone in a TOPIC STARTED by ME.

OPTION 2) A member replies after you in a discussion topic.
Expected Behavior: Notifications are sent when a user replies after me in a TOPIC STARTED by ME, or STARTED BY ANYONE ELSE.

Actually, this functionality is controlled by the BuddyPress Group Email Subscription plugin, but still… anybody? 🙂
