@hema-latha
As far as I know, this has been fixed in the “trunk” version, and it will get pushed out to the nightly build on the next update.
^F^
JUst downloaded and tested “trunk”… and still throws the same error.

Can’t find it in Trac either.
Ok. Will wait for the updated version.

I’ll be committing a patch in the next few hours that will fix this issue.
@fanquake Wow .. Thank you very much.
Just one more doubt. Sorry to trouble you.
After I started this thread,
I installed “buddypress album” plugin. Used it for 2 days and deleted the plugin.
To use “buddypress media” Nightly, Should I do any changes, Like deleting some tables in phpMyadmin ?
Or simply I can go ahead and install Nightly ?
Thanks again

I’ve committed the patch, so this should now be fixed in trunk.
In regards to your above comment. You should be able to install the nightly build over bp-album without any issue. You can delete the bp-album database table if you want.
Ok Got It. Thank you very much.
My host upgraded PHP to the latest stable version PHP 5.4.8
Buddypress Media displayed:

I contacted my host and they replied, “The build is now complete and GD is now installed.”
After that I totally lost my buddypress site. It displayed this error:
`Warning: require(/home/username/public_html/subdomain/wp-content/plugins/BP-Media/core/utils/class.utils.exception.php) [function.require]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/username/public_html/subdomain/wp-content/plugins/BP-Media/core/bpm.core.php on line 183
Fatal error: require() [function.require]: Failed opening required ‘/home/username/public_html/subdomain/wp-content/plugins/BP-Media/core/utils/class.utils.exception.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php’) in /home/username/public_html/subdomain/wp-content/plugins/BP-Media/core/bpm.core.php on line 183`
I contacted my host again with this issue and they replied:
“The subdomain.mybuddypress.com issue however, is a result of the Buddy Press Media plugin. The plugin is labeled a “nightly” release, which means the plugin is unstable, and not suitable for a production site. The error messages are because plugin is missing a file (core/utils/class.utils.exception.php), and is preventing it from loading. We verified that this file is missing from the latest release, and removed the plugin from the plugins directory so the site would load.”
How to fix this ?
Thank you.
@hema-latha
It looks like a file transfer failed when you uploaded the plugin files to your site.
Delete the entire contents of the ‘bp_media’ folder, and upload it again.
