Few newbie questions!

Hi Guys!
Just testing the current trunk version and just am wondering a few things….
- Will existing blogs be picked up by BP? I am testing at the moment and it only see’s blogs created after the install of BP, the ones already there aren’t seen or associated with the user even though they have one set up.
I have yet to launch the site but am wondering if I should hold off until the final release as I don’t want users with blogs having to start again.
- Will it possible for the user to log in to their BP profile rather than the WP dashboard? Or will the dashboard have a link to their BP profile. At the moment the two seem very seperate.
