following & customise admin email

hiya, is it possible to customise the admin email on account creation?
I’d like it to include a link to the new users profile & http referrer if possible.

also, with Friends disabled as I’m using andys follow plugin, the friendship emails are still listed in the dropdown, is it possible to swap them for following emails?

At the moment, what you see is what you get. After buddypress 1.3 is released the email editing options/interface will be significantly overhauled and I will try to add all emails in then.

Agreed, support for Andy’s Following plugin in the future would be really great – perhaps in reverse to the friends option, so we set someone (probably an admin) who automatically follows new users.

Still, great plugin though, thanks Paul!

Hi @nuprn1, I just updated a site to latest 1.2 branch & the admin emails no longer get customised, the default WP/BP one is being sen’t again. Any idea where to start troubleshooting?

only thing that comes to mind – did you overwrite where you made the changes?

hi @nuprn1, no I am running it as a plugin, worked perfectly before upgrading to 1.2 branch but not working since.

I thought BP 1.2.6 (what branch will be) might break Welcome Pack. Once 1.2.6 is out and when I have time, I’ll see what’s needed to fix it.
