Forums not working – link broken

There seem to be a few people having problems with existing forum installations no longer working. I’ve followed these, but they don’t seem to be arriving at a solution. I have two separate installations of buddypress that have been updated, but in both the forum link is broken. And when I try to set up a new group with a discussion forum, the link …/admin/group-settings is broken too. Other links work fine.
    Using:
    – WordPress 3.1
    – Buddypress 1.2.8
    Have tried
    – Reinstalling forums
    – Deactivating plugins
    – Activating standard buddypress theme

Has anyone found a solution to this yet?

    Thanks
    Kevin

I find the same problem when I create a fresh installation on the same server. I also have this problem in another wordpress installation on the same server. There was a recent migration of files across to different servers. Is buddypress dependent on particular operating systems?

I contacted my web host and they increased the memory limit to my public_html folder to 64mb. Now the forums run properly. In case anyone else has this problem, it seems worth contacting your host.
